Fucking awful day all things considered! Had some hassle trying to get my drill changed at the place I bought it from some 9-days ago. The bloke wanted me to contact the manufacturer’s after-service and send it off to be repaired. Well, there was no chance this side of hell that I was going to stand for that! Eventually persuaded the bloke to just do a straight out swap. He was reluctant to do so as he thought I’d bring it back again if it broke down. I put him straight by telling him what I thought of his Korean drill and told him that if the drill broke down again I’d perform my own form of A/S on it with a very large hammer!
After that I had a run in with the landlord. ‘Typical, old, Korean wanker’ pretty much sums up what I could waste time writing here so I’ll leave it as that. With the new drill and clips I got some more of the crap brackets in order to complete the ‘repair’ of my shelves. Got on with it and a few other bits and pieces that needed doing around the place. Small, fiddly, things that eat up a lot of time.
Meanguy2 is actually broke at this moment in time and so I had to scrap all plans I might have had for New Year (again). Doesn’t matter anyway was I’m feeling rather ‘cream-crackered’. Got the bus home and fell asleep before the New Year came and went.
