Whales it all about then?
Lolita has recently finished her painting of the leaping whales. As of yet she is undecided upon the title of her work although “Whales having a Workout” and “Whales Dieting” have been bandied about!
I was fortunate enough to be present when she finished up the piece and I must say that the sense of serenity that one gets upon viewing the painting is stunning. It took her very little time to complete the work although I cannot give an accurate time-frame since she worked on it off and on during the past week in between getting things ready for the Chinese New Year party that we held.
Actually, this painting is very different from many of the other works that Lolita has done. We talked about that yesterday and said how normally there would be something unusual or delightfully strange about it, perhaps like something bursting out of the whale’s stomach or maybe something catching the whales tail so that actually the whale’s skeleton jumps free of its skin. Something cute like that.
However, the painting itself was commissioned by one of the companies that Lolita works for and will be framed and hanging there in the non-too distant future. I doubt that they would have appreciated some of the alternative ideas we knocked about. Haha! Yeah, those paint-brushes look deadly in your hand! Glad you like the pics… your painting looks fantastic but still not as good as it does ‘in the flesh’ so to speak. Had another look at it just now while I was down there… brilliant!!!
My team lost by the way. Good job you didn’t watch it with me since I’m a really bad loser when it comes to football and tonight was no exception (it was a very important match).

Haha! Football is more important than sex and beer for some men! Tonight, it was more important than chocolate cookies for me… but I had some beer tonight and sadly I’ve never been in a situation where I’ve had to choose between football or sex.
Haha! That friend of mine over in Japan just called me to wish us well with “1212″. He’s a solid bloke. I hope he can get over here sometime so you can meet him.

ummm….still difficult to understand..it is just a white-black ball to me i d rather have a white-black chocolate cookie which as round as a football….it reminded me a joke i heard..when a girl in her late 10s,she is a football that 20ppl want her..when she become 20 sth,she is a basketball that 10 ppl want her..when she became 30..she’s golf..1 guy wants her..then 40…is pingpong..they hit her to each other..50 is volley ball..10ppl dodge&hit her……….well…wish u can have a chance to choose the 2 things u like the best soon!!haha..

That’s funny! I must admit, one of those black and white cookies the size of a football would be damn tempting! Haha!
Unfortunately, my wishes never come true… I’ll just have to stick to dreaming I guess!
